NOVA Power Solutions Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS’s) are used in Force Protection (FP) and Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) systems around the world.

Critical Infrastructure includes systems, facilities, and assets so vital that if destroyed or incapacitated would disrupt the security, economy, health, safety, or welfare of the public. These include energy plants (oil, natural gas, and nuclear), transportation (air, land, and sea uses), communication systems, and virtual systems (cyber, electronic data, and information systems).

In Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP), we have a position in protecting essential sites and facilities in the U.S. and other areas of the world as well as key international civilian infrastructure. Our uninterruptible power supplies and power conditioners are in use in Security Operations Centers (SOCs) and remote locations to provide continuous, clean electricity to the Primary Communication System, Duress Alarm System, computers, CCTV, Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), Mass Notification/Enunciator, and Access Control Equipment, including active vehicle barrier controls, barrier activation device (for emergency close), traffic arms used for safety at the active vehicle barrier, traffic sensors, and barrier signals and warning lights.

Force Protection systems may be deployed in some of the world’s most remote locations and harshest environments, including high temperature, humidity, and blown sand and dust. Our systems are currently used in war zones protecting our warfighters.

Our rugged UPS’s and power conditioners are designed to operate from a wide input voltage range, providing clean, reliable electricity to your mission-critical systems. Our products also feature a unique flow-through heat sink design that cools internal electronics without blowing external air directly across the circuit board, reducing sand/dust build-up on sensitive electronics.
